Accommodations

Special Celebration hotel rates are available at the Radisson Hotel Albuquerque - $89/night for single/double occupancy and $99/night for triple/quad occupancy. To reserve a discounted room at the Radisson Albuquerque, please call 505-888-3311 between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm MST prior to January 29th and request the “Kadampa” rate. After January 29th normal rates may apply.

Children

Children are welcome at the SWDC, but must be with a responsible adult at all times. All children, even infants, must be registered. Please register each child individually. Costs are as follows:

Entire event, no charge for under 4, $25/ ages 4-9, $45/ ages 10-15.
One day only, no charge for under 4, $15/full day for ages 4-9, $25/full day for ages 10-15.

To register a child please call 520-296-8626 or email info@swdharmacelebration.org. Give the name and age of each child attending. Please make payment at the registration table at the Celebration.

Parent volunteers will provide childcare and Dharma activities for children ages 4-12 during all SWDC sessions, including the Empowerment.

Children who attend any events in the Meditation Hall must be supervised closely and not disturb others. Children who are disruptive will be asked to leave the Meditation Hall immediately with their parents.

Proceeds from the SWDC will be donated to the NKT-IKBU International Temples Project,
a non-profit Buddhist organization building for world peace.
