The Power of Wisdom
Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Manjushri
“Nothing harms us more than ignorance—it is the source of all our problems and the root cause of all our negative actions of body, speech and mind. There is no better way to use our precious human life than to strive to overcome our ignorance, and the way to do this is to develop wisdom.” –Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Buddha taught that everything depends upon our mind, including reality itself. In these teachings we can learn both logically and practically how things do not exist from their own side but are dream-like projections of mind. Any experience of this wisdom brings us deeper freedom and peace, and allows us to master our minds. This in turn leads to a good life and the ability to help others skillfully.
Manjurshri is the Buddha of Enlightened Wisdom. An empowerment is a blissful, guided meditation. By receiving this empowerment, we make a strong connection with Manjurshri and his blessings will cause our wisdom to quickly increase. We will also learn practices we can continue in our daily life so that the enlightened qualities of wisdom and compassion become our own.
